Default New insight on the Eurasian Steppe Civilisations - paleogenetics study

Genetic DNA analysis of populations revealed an increasing genetic distance between these cultures from the late Copper Age to the Middle Bronze Age. The biggest genetic distance is between Copper Age and Catacomb culture, and they are much more pronounced compared to early Copper Age and Yamna culture. This could indicate discontinuity or population change through migration. Based on archeological data a immigration from Eastern Steppes was postulated, however, this migration hardly occurred, at least on the maternal side (=mtDNA): Typical Central Asian DNA lines do not occur in the tested populations. Regardless of the genetic differences within the tested groups, all these populations can be clearly classified as European. DNA markers with known phenotype suggest a continuity between the North-Pontic area of the 4th/3rd millennia BC and Europeans of today. For example, all analyzed (ancient) individuals showed the same light pigmentation that is dominating in Europe today. Only the eye color was darker compared to today.
Also, the six individuals were successfully typed for the Y-DNA. It's so sad, that those scientists haven't revealed it yet. I smell the R1a-Z93/Z280 or both.

are these brand new dna samples i had no idea they where getting tons of DNA from north Steppe people from 5,000-6,000ybp this will tell so much about how Indo European spread

i was suprised when they said they had darker eyes because DNA from 4,000 year old and 3,800 yer old Indo Iranien Indo Europeans in siberia and west china most had light eyes but they came from these cultures this probably means the early Indo Europeans in the steppes 6,000ybp where already a mix of different ethnic groups that had the same culture

also it seems that red hair in western Europe almost definally came from R1b L11 Indo Europeans https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...i2FYc9Yb3JD07A

also many Indo Iranians had red hair so i except to see alot of red hair but maybe these people where from a different ethnic group with the same culture red hair today is highest in Udmurt and other ethnic groups who live in the north steppe but they are the only eastern Europeans with red hair

i think these people probably are the ancestors of modern people in the steppes but then where did the light haired light eyed indo Iranians and red haired R1b Indo Europeans come from hopefully the more DNA they get from ancient remains will give answers

can u please make threads of new information u get or tell me where u get the information

there is a website called ancient eurasian dna they updte when there are new DNA results today they updtaed three mtDNA samples from a kurgen in Ukriane all there had Mongloid mtDNA C and they placed it in the bronze age about 4,000ybp
