Coming from a country that is built upon British common-law, ours is the same policy.. However, people let themselves become victims to intimidation in our countries to bully cops who only signed up for the job to push people around instead of fulfilling the merits of a good Peace Officer. But in reference to what you said, what I admire about our western societies is that citizens are protected fundementally from this mis-use of power and people should take full advantage of it. It's basically a universal principle in civilized nations.. Admirers of fascism and socialism in general should take note of this fact..

as in here possession of spraybottles under a certain age, or not having a justifiable cause (on a workplace or such..), is a admission of guilt to every act of spraypaint vandalism within the neighbourhood.

Unfortunately, citizens fall victim to rogue police, as well as cops on a power trip. Many people obey commands without question, no matter who the people are. These people are here to serve and protect their community and uphold their sworn oaths and adhere to them to the absolute. Some will use many, many tricks to get around them, and all too many fall for them.
