T2 and sub-clades.

I'd like to open discussions into the topic of mtDNA haplogroup T2, as well as it's many sub-clades. This seems to be a somewhat ignored group. Anyone with information or questions, lets hit it.

As far as I know, this haplogroup is associated with Neolithic agriculturalists from the Middle East. However, I am reading a few things pointing towards an earlier migration into Europe. Having been found in a few Neolithic and Chalcolithic European sites, and rarely, if at all being found earlier in Europe, it seems indicative of this group entering Europe in larger numbers during a Neolithic agriculturalist expansion. Moving along, I gather roughly 8% of the European population can trace their maternal haplogroup to T. This is a rare and overlooked haplogroup that demands more attention that I would assume has a rich history linked to it.
