Maybe it is because the concept of Armenoid has changed over time or because different anthropologists had different concepts.

Assyrians are classified as Armenoids (in some departments), but they don't look like these examples above. We generally don't have big, bulging eyes and skeletal faces.

Are Lebanese people Armenoids btw? We mostly look like Lebanese people (namely Maronites). So we'll be whatever they are.

Most Lebanese are not Armenoid, but they exist. Stereotypical Assyrian, as much as it exists, is a mix of Med and Armenoid I'd say. Some can be pure Armenoid, but that's more common further north I think.
