History is a history and piece of land is just, a piece of land. I am not talking about people if that might have also crossed your mind. We know what is Croatia now and there shouldn't be any large minority in the 'neighbourhood'.

Skin tone or hair? The English tan better than the Irish & Scots. Irish/Scots are more freckly & pale. They have more red hair. Irish have most blue eyes.

The English have more blonde hair, Welsh most dark hair & darker eyes.

I always thought the same thing (that the Welsh due to the fact that they were darkest-haired, were naturally also the darkest-eyed), but studies have proven the both of us wrong. Yes, the Welsh are the darkest-haired of the Britons but not by much. In fact the East and South English are darker-eyed (more brown eyes) than the Welsh.
