How Vlachs people look to you?
There were a lot of them in the Balkans, especially when Ottomans started to populate them everywhere as loyal servents .
They are some sort of descendants of Romanized ancient people(Dacians, Thracians or whatever) with their specific language and had awareness of their uniqueness until just several centuries back, but then majority of them were assimilated by others.
If we look at modern Serbs, Croats and Bosniaks nation, we know that most of Vlachs were
assimilated by Serbs because Vlachs were Orthodox in most cases, but also Catholic Vlachs were assimilated by Croats and Vlachs who converted to Islam were assimilated by Bosniaks.
If we talk about Bosnia, we even in medival Bosnia have Vlachs, they are mentioned as small minority.
Later during Ottomans rule a lot of Vlachs come to Bosnia as Ottomans servents, and because more then 70% were Orthodox they were later assimilated in Serbs nation.
Anyway, in Serbia today we have community of Vlachs people who still maintain their tradition( but they are pretty much same as Serbs with everything), and I will post photos of them.
What interests me do you see some specificity in their look, or they with probably mixing with Slavs in some time in history losed their characteristics, and they also now look just like others South Slavic people here?
