I only have half-siblings. I have a brother and a sister on my dad's side, they are 10 and 8 years older than me. and I have a brother on my mother's side, he's 5 years older than me.

I was raised without any contact with my paternal-half-siblings, their mother took then away from my dad after their divorce, so they are kinda strangers to me. But I have 5 nieces/nephews from them (but can you believe my brother didn't give my father's surname to his children?, my grandfather got very upset, as you can imagine my dad didn't raise them, and had little contact to them). Their family diverges from my mine in many aspects, sadly I don't feel that close to them.

My maternal half-bro is my truly bro, we were raised together as regular brothers, I only figured out that we were half much much later, we are super close and share a lot in common, I was even best man at his wedding.
