    are there any german gentiles with surnames ending in -stein or -berg or just jewish?

    I think both Alfred Rosenberg and Markus Rosenberg (Swedish football player) are of regular German ancestry, and not Jewish.

    Yes, even with typical Jewish surnames like Goldberg.

    The German family Füstenberg is of royal origin, despite being ''berg '' in it.

    Probably there is somehow a big misconceptionabout Jewish names and the mistake to put all names with berg in its ending on the semitic origin I guess.
