Are the French Northern, Central, or Southern Europeans?

They are Southern Europeans and genetically cluster with Iberians and Northern Italians, well the Northern French seem to be genetically closer to NorthWest Europeans. The French are basically an intermediate population of North and South Europeans.

I would say the northern French are northern Europeans, and the southern French are southern Europeans.

If you consider dutch and belgians northern europeans yes, personally I consider all of them as central europeans (with obvious northern european tendency)
The same goes for southern france, central europe with southern tendency like austria, northern italy, croatia, etc...
