George Zimmerman, classification and race.

Many threads have been created over him not only here but in many other related communities, and his name has been subject of discussion a lot of times, especially during the case where he was accused of the murder he commited.

In this thread instead, we shall discuss something that has not been on the center of attention before, his race.

If we want to shed more light on this topic, we need to go further and study his ancestors:

-His father, a german american of partial ashkenazim jewish descent recognized as white american.

-His mother, a peruvian(hispanic) american, who claims 25% African ancestry, 25% White ancestry and 50% Indigeneous Peruvian(Amerindian).

He is appearantly 5/8 White, 2/8 Amerindian(Indigeneous Peruvian) and 1/8 Black African, and many have labelled him as white hispanic.

So, what are your thoughts on this case?

Do you think he's white, and if not, what would the most appropriate racial classification for him?

His mothers genes influenced him too much. I wouldn't consider George zimmerman white.

That's pretty much the average for Colombians...and they ain't white.

Looks like a Mestizo to me. SSA features aren't prominent enough for me to think he was tri-racial, although he actually is.

He is mainly Alpinid but also has a strong pyknic Indigenous influence (Centralid?) with some Dinariform tendencies wich can or cannot be from the Andid type. I see distant African in the eyes and mouth shape. (Orbicularis oris.)
