    Why the hell would they even consider joining the EU? Isn't their currency currently doing better?

    good news, I hope some day to hear news about some EU country leaving the EU for good, for example spain leaving would be fine , but it's more probable the UK leaves the EU in next years.... I hope so, go england go!!
