I recently found out that Ossetians adopted male names such as Sarmat, Alan, etc.
British Empire falls and Nigeria claims the legacy of Great Britain since year 1066 because they happen to speak some form of broken English.

You think there's a link with Sarmatians? I know that both Poles and Croats sometimes claim a connection to them traditionally. But that's not really easily provable. They probably dispersed across a wide variety of peoples, foremost the Ossetians in North Caucasus, some others in southern Russia, Central Asia, and eastern Europe. One of the few notable Sarmatian tribes recorded in Europe was the Jazyges, who settled in what is now mostly eastern Hungary and some of western Romania in the Classical era. They supposedly gave their name to the city of Iasi. There was also coincidentally a later wave of actual Ossetians, known as Jasz or Jassic people, who settled in the same region of Hungary and integrated.

Yeah you're probably right. There was also the Alans who went as far west as Spain and then into North Africa, but probably didn't leave many traces there.
It's like one thing that may connect some Euros to some West, Central, or South Asians.
As far as emblems or symbols associated with it, one of the main ones that pop up is the draco head (which also showed up in the King Arthur movie)
But the problem is that one is already present in the Dacian permission group. The cultures probably influenced each other at one point, or maybe there was some Massagetae connection.
There's also the stag, but that's more associated with the earlier Scythians technically.

The only Europeans who can join this permission group are Magyars.

Oh I dont know, I think there is a "little blood" of Sarmatians in any of Eastern European ppl.
And having in mind that Greek writers from Greek colony of Tanais (Crimea) are mentioning on stone tablets from 2nd century Croats as part of Sarmatian tribes gives me more than rights to join this group, wouldn't you say?
