Black Umbro Neo Striker for 3G pitches, Black Mizunos for Futsal and for grass a pair of white Adidas I got on discount.

I wear anything but Nike, Nike boots are absolute crap, the thinnest shoes I've ever seen. Adidas is the gold standard for grass, for futsal it's a whole other thing, I hardly play it but people like Asics, Joma and Kelme.

I spent few weeks in Zagreb and was forced to buy trench style boots for freezing weather there - your feet get frozen otherwise - and I was suprised to see this style of shoes in every shop. In my Adriatic city it isn't needed that much and people wear lighter shoes even in winter.

Got these Calvin Kleins and they were pretty good guy. Better than Dr.Martens I own but didn't take with me because I find them uncomfortably heavy - the CKs are super light for such a bulky shoe.

Tevas - as they are very comfortable, long lasting, wear-with-all sandals with non-slip rubber soles.

I wear sketchers as they’re very comfortable and provide good support. I also bought these fancy looking things for my clinical placements.

I wear La Sportiva TX4 Approach Shoes... they are great for long walks, hiking, and mountain biking. I love them so much.

Keen Howser... these are for running out into the garden, or running to the store when it's cold out. They are incredibly comfy and cozy and my hubby calls them my elf shoes.

I love these Teva Hurricane sandals. I wear them all summer. They are great for long walks on our rocky seashore in the PNW. I love the colors.

I also wear these Earth Runner sandals in the summer for grounding. I like to wear them in my garden and around the house.

I also still have my old pair of Dr. Martens, but my daughter is going through a goth/punk phase and she stole them from me.

How could you wear those kind of knee-high boots for any activity other than horseback riding? I can't imagine.

They are surprisingly comfortable for walking - this type of boot was also worn by officers and airmen, and unlike some modern rubber riding boots, they're not hard to walk in on the ground. Good quality leather probably contributes significantly. I've worn them to concerts or trips where I spent half the day on my feet, and once spent upwards of 2 hours standing in one spot, waiting, which I don't think would have been comfortable in any other pair of shoes. You can't drive in them, though, and running is possible but not particularly comfortable.

As far as shoes go, the riding boots are far more comfortable than the oxfords I have but avoid wearing, because the back on those is shaped in a manner that I can't wear out and cuts me when I walk in them.

For the record, I drive and cycle in these:

Those kind of boots with twenty eyelets I can see how you can walk around in them or style them if you are part of a specific subculture, it's not something very common but you see them from time to time. They must be a pain to put on and take off though, I imagine you have to take the laces off every time to do it as well. I was more curious about the Luchs Reitstiefel and the ones you showed from WWI, boots without eyelets that go all the way to the knee, I can't imagine a man wearing that on the street without attracting everyone's attention.

Edit: Just to clarify, I am not dissing you or trying to correct you on what you should or shouldn't wear. I was just curious because those looked rather eccentric to what I am used to but to each their own.
