From what I personally know from my parents, only up till my great-grandparents. However, my grandparents supposedly know back till around (EDIT: I actually don't know, just VERY far back) so I'll just have to have a really nice conversation with them when I go to see them.

Pretty far back. My father is big into tracing the genealogy on his side of the family. I think the 1400s was the furthest he went back, and that side was all Rusyn heritage up until leaving Medzilaborce and Rešov to the United States in the early 1900's.
His work has basically inspired me to trace back and learn about my ancestry and background on all sides. Still learning, and tracing ones heritage at times can be difficult. Still cannot get very far on my mother's side of the family. My grandfather on that side, I can barely find any info on.

i can trace my lineage back to 7th saint of vedic period who wrote mandal 3 of Rig Veda. he was the leader of Bharata Tribe who invaded India and created first Indian Nation named Bharat.
name of India is Bharat Ganrajya in Native Languages.
