    Default Smoothies

Water always suffice - almost. When I need a little extra energy, for instance after a workout, I make a healthy energy smoothie.

A smoothie is made up primarily of ground fruit. Therefore, in addition to the juice's vitamins, minerals and enzymes you also get the fruit's fibers, which are an important nourishment.

Just pour all the ingredients into a bowl and blend them.

    Vitamin Bomb
    100 grams plums
    A few handful cherries
    ˝ tablespoon honey
    2 dl. soy milk

    Perfect Restitution
    3 dl. milk
    70 gr. blueberries
    ˝ banana
    15 gr. almonds
    1 teaspoon flaxseed (cold pressed)

    Berry Symphony
    1 handful of raspberries
    1 handful of strawberries
    1 handful of blueberries
    1 handful of blackberries
    1.5 dl. apple juice

    Ready again
    1 banana
    1/4 pineapple
    5 tablespoon yogurt naturel
    6 tablespoon pineapple juice

    Good for detoxification and hangovers.

    Easy Banana
    2 ripe bananas
1 dl. ymer/ylette/A38 or some other fermented dairy product
    1.5 dl. orange juice

Smoothies are excellent. Though a little hard to be prepare and can be messy. But it's a great way to get rid of fruits that are starting to go bard.

Myself I don't use milk since it adds too much fat into it. Rather I substitute juice, since I always have a carton on hand and keeps it a fruity flavor; while milk can ruin that.

I'd love to see your favorite smoothies, preferably with ingredients which are fairly easy to get hold of here in Scandinavia.
Since I am a viking, I cannot do without my dairy products.

    I prefer Banana + Strawberry.
Orange smoothies are also possible but it takes a little more effort to make sure there is no longer skin.
And a lot of juices can be added. I've used Mott's Tomato in a Smoothie before

In the mornings, I always blend a banana, small yoghurt, and frozen forest berries together. Delicious.
