Long time I had the same view as you, but bear in mind that the "perfect woman" does not exist.
Only if you get rid of this illusion you will be able to find a partner.
But I agree with you. You have to dedicate lots of time to your relationship and so time for self improvement is kind of reduced at least.

Yes sure its a good point, nevertheless I still think first you have to improve to the point you are content with yourself and find inner harmony as well. As long as you do not find self satisfaction irrespective if you have a partner or not, no one else will find you and your character attractive

A sane person doesn't need someone to fufill his life....this is my case, i had a couple of "serious" relationship in the past and i ended up with a stomachache all day long, someone who tells you what you can do, what you can't do....i can't stand at something like that!!! I thank God every day to let me be single and in peace, i'm very happy, have freedom, lots of friends....why should i ruin my life like that?! I'm not that masochist.
