Default Orbán, Slovenian parliament speaker say central Europe is engine of economic growth

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban discussed bilateral relations with Slovenian House Speaker Janko Veber in Budapest on Wednesday, Orban’s press chief told MTI.

The sides stressed the importance of cooperation in central Europe, a region they agreed is the engine of economic growth in the continent, Bertalan Havasi said.

Orban and Veber called business, educational and cultural cooperation mutually important interests.

They agreed that organising Hungarian-Slovenian forums is also important in promoting bilateral business partnerships.

The Slovenian parliamentary speaker is concluding a two-day official visit to Hungary on Wednesday. On Tuesday he met leaders of Slovenian organisations in Szentgotthard and earlier on Wednesday he held talks with President Janos Ader and his Hungarian counterpart Laszlo Kover.

Slovenia and Hungary will form a new axis that will be the economic heart of Europe, and replace Germany.
