I flopped big time though, I should've posted her in the Castizo thread as she's 1/4 non-Caucasoid, I'm pretty sure that chunk of unassigned is just more Euro-MENA

It's the same with me, 23andme gives me a chunky slice of unassigned but GEDmatch translates it into more yuropian

IMO she is not just "harniza".
She only has 25% of native american %.
The problem is that the test gives 5% of unassigned to her.
But even in the case that all that unassigned would be part of the amerindian she would be around 68/70% Euro, so she would be in the middle of harniza and castiza, not just a simple harniza.

P.d.: Of course she is perfectly posted here because she belongs to the category but we can say that she is in a sort of borderline leaning to Castiza.

Well, as far I know, many times the unassigned is non-european gen, but like you say, there are cases that is just european...I hope that she do a gedmatch

Para mi un castizo, estaría apenas de 70% Euro, si es menos ya sea un 69% sigue siendo harnizo; en este caso border castizo...en el caso de la mujer no creo que llegue al 70% y por eso creo que merece estar en este thread, claro, no es simplemente una harniza "Textbook" es border...pero sigue siendo harniza, caso contrario si hubiera tenido un poco más de Euro la pondría en algun thread de castizos.

Not really, at least with 23andMe; the genetic calculator algorithm has the highest precision and recall rates when it comes to Amerindian and Subsaharan sequences, it might be harder for them to identify Southern European blood especially within highly mongrelized latinos and specifically to pinpoint traces of Sephardic, Italkim, Mizrahim or whatever miscellaneous ingredients are inside the average latino's genetic clusterfuck

Ah claro, amigo! Totalmente de acuerdo!
Se supone que un harnizo "textbook" es 62.5% Euro por ser la mezcla de un individuo mestizo y uno castizo o de uno indomestizo y uno totalmente full Euro... bueno, eso era en la colonia jaja.
Ahora con tantas mezclas eso no es mensurable.
Solo por medio de un examen de ADN se puede determinar pero digamos que de 57/58% a 69% un individuo cuadra bien en la categoria y es el caso de esra bella dama.
