Default Are Lithuanians similar to Germans?

Are they fairly similar in culture and custom? I know that Lithuania is a Baltic state (non slavic) while Poland is Slavic. Lithuanian women are said to be the most beautiful in the world. I was wondering if Lithuania is more like Germany than Poland in that regard. Would Germans and Lithuanians relate to each other well?

    Not quite so.

In culture and custom they are the most similar to Poles and Belarusians. Poland and Lithuania used to be one country for several centuries, Lithuania and Belarus even longer. Genetically, they are most similar to Latvians, North-Eastern Poles and some Belarusians.

Unlike the majority of Latvians (Lutherans), most of Lithuanians are Roman Catholics.

However, there used to be Lutheran Lithuanians in what is now Kaliningrad Oblast:

Almost 20% of Lithuania's population is Slavic, they have a large Polish minority whose presence there dates back to the 1300s:

The political leader of Polish minority is Waldemar Tomaszewski: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valdemar_Toma%C5%A1evski

They are not mixed with Russians.

And Russians are more similar genetically to Germanics, than Lithuanians are to Germanics.

Russians are Orthodox and Lithuanians are Roman Catholic so they rarely intermarry.

Moreover, there was no significant Russian minority in Lithuania before World War 2.

There were 6,000 Russians in Poland according to 2002 census (a bit more in 2011).

In a country of around 39 million people, this is less than 0.03% of the population.

Lithuanians are similar to East Slavs. German DNA is very far from Lithuanian, at the opposite end of any graph.
