Are the Goblin bankers in Harry Potter supposed to represent Jews?

I have. Most of them look what they are, semitic. Some jews (Ashkenazim) tend to look European though.

Actually no. When I look in the bus or classroom, it's a minority if at all and it's usually certain Ashkenazim (and Yemenite Jews? Is it the same nose? not really).

Other than that not every character with a long nose signifies/alludes Jews, that's just so out of proportion.
