Are you going by linguistic grouping? By that definition Romanians are SW European too. If you mean religion then Poles and Irish are SW European.
Genetically and phenotypically Sicilians are not proper Southern Europeans anyway, so I think this whole question needs a third option: Neither.

I am. Never said I wasn't. I am just telling you what the genetic data says. And frankly, I go by the genetic data when deciding these things. I only reluctantly picked "SE European" because the correct answer was not available.

Leave Greeks aside (Even that is kind of doubtful) Sicilians are clearly closer to Iberians than to any other Balkan country.

Sicilians are not related to Iberians neither genetically nor in any way other than linguistically and religiously. Culture isn't even similar, ask any Iberian user here.
