I know that the Balts were apparently the last pagan peoples of Europe besides the Saami who were basically animists....The ancient pagan religions of the Caucasus are also very interesting. For example the last Ingush pagan tribe did not convert to Islam until 1864 apparently!

Yeah, the Vainakh tribes(chechen and Ingush) had voluntarily converted to Islam to unite with Dagestanis and Circassians who were already Muslim, to fight against the Russian invaders...

You should prioritise Neolthic Orkney over Stonehenge. But the problem being, it is much harder to travel too.

That's another place i find very interesting, along with other Isles!

I still have childhood memories of visiting the beautiful Highlands in our Caravan.



The largely untouched landscape, gives you a deep sense of serenity and is very much a refreshing experience.

I always say that i would like to go; but this summer, i think i shall definitely make plans to visit again.

What's about ancient Greek paganism?

Oh, it's not quite forgotten. We still have some Hillibillies who search for Zeus in Olympus, but they are generally better behaving than the other religions...

Great job! but the term "disappeared" is not correct to refer to Baltic and Finnish paganism, today in Finland is still practicing Finnish (modernized) paganism under the name of "Taivaannaula"
