    where does the money come from ? (explain your vision).

    scenario 1): money comes from profits of the company, in that case the company ends up paying less taxes on profit AND could easily move abroad = either way its a catastrophy
    scenario 2): money comes from those who make more, they are either taxed more OR their salaries are reduced (dramatically). In that case its socialism Soviet model. It will result in degradation of the population and people will be inclined to study less, since even a cleaning lady/street sweeper makes a very decent living. Reduction of education would surely be a disaster for a high tech country like Switzerland which benefits from high educated population.
    I understand your point of view, but you have to consider that $ 2.800,- sounds much for us but it is really a minimum sum for Swiss standards. It is hardly enough to secure your most basic needs. Average rent of a 50m˛ appartment in Zürich is about
    $ 1.800,-

    Where does the money come from? Do you know Switzerland?
    A cleaning lady gets her salary based on ask/bid market. If no citizen would want to become a cleaning lady for less than $2800, then the price might adjust itself.

    Switerland does not have natural resources, so it is a high tech/high intellect economy, which is surely quite vulnerable.

    This "$2800 minimum" proposal might work in some arab state which relies on selling oil but not in a highly developed economy such as Swiss one.

    Imagine an arab state which gets lets say $100b a year from selling oil. The monarch takes $50b and gives $50b to his nation, providing $2000/month to each citizen. Now if the nation demands to get $80b a year and reduce monarchs income to $20, then it would not have consequences for such an economy.

    The Swiss economy is much more vulnerable to such manipulation and would surely suffer.

    It's very unlikely that this proposal would be passed through the parliament.

    it simply means that Zurich is too expensive to live for a cleaning lady, unless she inherited property or has a husband who works as well, in that case she should live in a very small apartment or outside of the town and take public transportation to work.

    but it surely doesn't mean that the state should take money from others to provide her a higher income.

    The 1:12 can work if achievement bonuses are set up for the power structure, in different value levels. This could push people to work harder.

    Switzerland is rich enough NOT to do this.
    Right now they are but this is not a good long term measure.

    ofc its not a good long term measure. Naturally the bottom of the society (and some intellectual snobs) may support it, but it would surprise me if it was passed through the parliament.

    I agree. You are dealing with people that have no concept of basic economics.
