Which countries make up Southern Europe?

Croatia is debatable IMO, at least from a genetic and pheno perspective.

I agree that phenotypically it's rather Central European-like but many Balkan states stand between Mediterranean and Central areas of Europe on genetic level.
That's why I only used geography as criterion.
I don't find Slovenia to be Southern in any aspect though.
