Should North Africans be considered Caucasoids or Puerto Rican/Brazilian style Pardos?

North africa surely isnt pardos as a whole. Algeria is considered to be very white,green eyes and fair hair isnt uncommon (if you live around and know alot of them you will understand).

Moroccans and tunisians vary in skin colour but natives to coastal regions have generally fair skin and to some small extent blue,green eyes and light hair. But even then you have a mixing that occured since the existence of morocco and tunisia of migrations. You have arabs in big cities,SSA and arab mixed sahrawis,SSA migrants from the times of Abid al-bukhari (where hundreds of thousands of SSA migrant slaves were bringed by the numerous dynasties.). You also have the native berber imazighen in the neighboring rural villages and in the mountains who have a reputation of being lighter here in morocco.

You cant paint a region the size of the united states with the same brush.

I personally see a big difference between Latinos and North Africans/Arabs, many people dont but there are definitely distinguished traits that make a race look like that specified race. I can definitely tell semitic traits apart from non-semitic because i grew up with Turks and Moroccans and Egyptians.


so no, North Africans are considered mainly Caucasoid, whilst many might have SSA admixture no one will probably see them as literally "Black" admixed like in a way a biracial person is for example, or a Puerto Rican/Dominican.

They look darker than quadroons by a lot since 75% euro brings a lot of light features to those persons.

I could kinda agree on that yeah, probably also the reason why people say i look very Egyptian or North African, i am roughly 70%+ Caucasoid, 21% West African, and 2-6% Amerindian.

I also have the additional Arab mixture to go with it (15-30%) so that also gives me overal semitic traits i think

One can argue that modern day North Africans should be considered to be mongrels rather than Cacucasoids though.

Egypt got mongrelized by nigger blood in its later days due to the Nile River and Red Sea. The Maghreb got mongrelized after Islam arrived in the region.

yeah, that is why i said one time that many north africans can pass for pardo brazilians, dominican and puerto ricans, also for the ones in veracruz and such

IMO, Pardo is very broad term it's basically synonym with mixed (Lit. brown). so No. North Africans are their own thing, and Pardo is too broad. But some of them look alike yeah.
