Nope, if they had ancestors that considered themselves white and were native to Europe, then they are mixed. But again, they can identify as whatever they want.

So than Turkish people are also mix race since their Mongoloid admixture from 5 - 18.5% with the occasional 20-22%. Even Azeris are 5 - 29%.

I'm skeptical of those results. Most African-Americans that I know of claim to have some minor Native American DNA.

And if the average Afram was only 1/8 non-black, their skin color wouldn't be considerably lighter than what you find in Caribbean blacks and native Africans, but most Aframs have lighter skin than say, Jamaicans and Haitians.

The skin color index varies among different African groups. Mind you these are both West African groups.

If they have only 12.5% White DNA on average that means they are only Black with small white admixture.




For example some 1/2 White or 1/4 White are mixed but anything less than are not counted.

The average African-American is around 20 to 25% European, not 12.5%. So not only they are mixed with Europeans but they are also a big mix of different types of Sub-Saharan Africans. So they were actually already mixed before being raped by "white" slave owners.
