A lot of people here see Europe as a fragmented land, where everybody would look different in each countries. But the reality is different : all countries in the central/western area of Europe (France, Switzerland, UK, Benelux,western/south Germany, North Italy...) are very similar in terms of physical features (though some local variations) and a "regular" french would not look very different from a "regular" englishman for example (excepting he is from the far south of the country). People will begin to look much more different when you go in the extremities, far south and far north of the continent . aAn andalusian or a calabrese would look different from a central european; but you could find a southern spaniard who looks british and a swede who looks spanish for example. This is the reason why physical anthropology is highly subjective and can be ridiculous sometimes.
