Default How many calories do you burn per day?

I don't feel like I burn enough. Today I burned 100 on the bike and I'm about to go running, which will burn another 150 or so.

    What is your average?

Visiting the gym 6 times a week and doing cardio (moderate cardio burns approx. 300 kcal per hour - intensive cardio approx. 600 kcal) as well as strength training (split training - 3 times upper body - 3 times lower body and every day abdomnials because
they recuperate fast) I would estimate about 500-600 kcal additionally.
I eat lots of proteins and also carbs to compensate it.
Prodigies appear in the oddest of places

at gym on treadmill it can be anywhere from 300-400 calories. I used to burn 600 when I was a cardio-fiend back in the day but I lost my step and went down to 200 calories. The trick is to set reasonable goals like say to yourself 'I'm going to run 3 miles' at speed of whatever. If you have to slow down increase the incline.

My old goal back in the day was to do a solid 60 minutes a day at varying relatively high speeds but it became too taxing on the mind and body even (feet would be blistered severly). So the key here is reasonable goals/objective for your cardio session.

Some of y'all are hard core. I envy that. It's hard enough for me to just do a few minutes a day. I used to run 3.5 miles a few times a week but I was out of the habit for a while and now I can't seem to get back into it.

I'm giving myself a year-- by the time I turn 35 I want to be back where I was then, but it's been 3 months and I've made almost no gains.

You have to count your basal metabolic rate and your brain also burn a lot of calories, so if you study you burn more.

I work out at the gym near my home 3 times a week, 10 minutes of cardio and about 50 minutes of lifting weights, but I exercise pratically everyday. I have some stuff at home so I exercise more at home along with the gym work. I do push ups, chin ups, pull ups, front and back squats, biceps curls, military press, sometimes I go to a park with materiel to work out to feel fresh air and be around people. Though I currently have no idea on how many calories I burn daily, I don't even remember my basal metabolic rate, I just know I need Whey Protein everyday from now on.
