I stumbled upon some classification threads of musicians I liked, was like "hmm, this seems interesting". Lurked on here for a bit just to get a feel for the place and then created an account, still not sure what to make of it, but its something else to occupy my time with during the dull Corona era aside from the usual things I do

I was member of another Forum think name was Historum.
I had already done a DNA test with FTDNA but the Historum forum had a policy that they wouldnt allow their members to discuss DNA topics , several members had been discussing DNA but were warned by Moderators that they would be banned if they continue to talk about DNA/Genetics.
Some members at Historum forum informed me that I could discuss DNA topics in Apricity , so thats how I came to join this forum back in March 2017.
I also recognise by Usernames a few other members from Historum that have migrated over to Apricity.

Google lead me here when I was looking for discussions about ethnicity, race, phenotypes. I was enthusiastic about these topics way before I found apricity.
It took me years to register here.
When I first found the forum I just read a couple of topics then I didn't look at the forum for months or even a year, after that I found the forum again by searching stuff on google, read a couple of topics again. This cycle continued for a long time until I eventually registered. I think the first time I browsed this forum was around 2012.

Google. I was searching about taxonomy, then found out this forum who was full of Albanians attacking Serbs in that time, so I had to intervene. That's how I registered.
