Are you a Mercedes Benz or a BMW person?

I know what you mean. I love my VW Jetta, it's so slick with it's compact back, but because I live in a college town where parking is impossible not to mention astronomical price-wise, and maintenance is ridiculous, I am looking to sell it soon as I have no reason to use it. It just sits there, the battery runs out, and I have to jump it all the time. I bought it because it is a slick little compact sedan and I wanted a German car, so I paid more.

If I ever move and get another vehicle, I'll probably just go with a Dodge Neon.

Nothing against the two brands of cars. They are nice cars indeed, and a status symbol. But my sister had a Beamer (Daddy bought it for her of course) and the upkeep on it was crazy expensive. I heard the same goes for Mercedes. I can't afford that. I drive a Hyundai currently, and a Saturn before that, and they are/were perfectly practical cars which have reasonable upkeep expenses (and good gas mileage to boot).

I am a true Albanian so I had to vote for Mercedes but I like both.

Everytime I come from a function that involves a bunch of Albanians the parking lot looks like a German Luxurious Car dealership. Mainly Benz, Beamers and some Audis here and there. I notice a lot of other Balkanites are the same way.

Of coarse!!!! 80 percent of the registered cars in Albania are Mercedes. Who knows about the cars that are not registered.

Well most buy them used and/or on credit. Also Albanians don't spend money on other things like Westerners like going out to eat, vacations and so forth on average.
