Well the British are the closest population to the Irish with the West Scots being the closest but it would be interesting to see if people think other European populations look similar.

I notice on G25 Irish aren't close to French at all but they don't really have a Breton or Northern French category which I'm sure would be different.

There is a large selection of pictures of Irish people on this thread. It shows pictures of Irish people from all over Ireland. What population do you think the Irish resemble most e.g. English, Scottish or Welsh from Britain? Also what population do you think they resemble in Europe - Spanish, French, Belgian etc?

I hope people give an honest opinion and look at the thread instead of having a stereotypical view. Maybe this would be better as a multiple choice? All opinions would be appreciated.

Do you think I could pass as irish? A fun tool on Facebook told me "your nationality is mexican" and a second time with the same picture it told me "your nationality is irish" probably bullshit, and just fun.
