Well, my friend brought food and clean water to many people living in camps humiliated by poverty and misery of the war, I'm sure that many Bosnians must give thanks to him, stupid or not, by their extra centimeters of height.

I doubt spanish woman are average 166 cm,maybe the new generation only? swedish women are average 168(all women)..i think younger ones are more 170 cm,but either way been in Spain,and the girls there are short,much shorter on average than swedes

I converted 5'8'' to 172 cm. That's not average height here, that would be short. Average would be more like 176-177cm.

Practically 5'10" was considered getting on the tall side not very long ago in Portugal and for someone to be 6 feet or so was huge.

I don't know about America, i'm sure you are more qualified than me to speak about them. But if you are going to Lisbon expecting people to be 172cm, you might get a shock.

I never heard of someone of 180cm being considered huge here. So, i think you left our country a long time ago (if you even were born here).
