Nietzsches texts have its underwater streams. At that they are underwater only for non-specialist, for a reader who have no idea of certain layer of culture, about what Nietzsche says directly and openly but for some reason is situated out of readers attention.
For example, take "Ecce Homo" and extract where Nietzsche named himself - "learner of Dionysos"... He was the first who came to conclusion that cultural phenomenon of "dionysian religion" is the key to understanding of Anciet Greeks, their spirituality, life and philosophy. And becouse of that he is "learner of Dionysos", he gained specific way of thought which for reader who doesn't learn dionysian religion could be show up as irrational absurdic nonsens shrouded in aesthetic attractive poetical forms. Dionysianism is the very fabric of his philosophy but most of people seeing fabric are blinded to see dionysianism!
In general, not understanding "phenomenon Dionysos" it's not possible to expect for anything except of shallow understanding.
