While they are not predisposed to obesity, objective health problems can lead anyone to it. What worries me is that morphological Nordids simply lose the label "Nordid" if they get a bit pudgy. Say, here's young Tolkien, unquestionably Nordid. Here's him when he's old.
We know Baltids tend to be a bit stockier, but we've all seen thin Baltids as well - quite tempting to assign East Nordid admixture to him, isn't it?
Also, why is it impossible for a Nordid to have a brother who looks a tad Uralid? It's possible for brothers to have different hair colour, for example. There's usually some variability in features.

Not a good argument at all. Brothers and sisters can have vastly different phenotypes. My father is Aryan-Faelid with unusually dark hair (like yeltsin). His sister is Alpine-Faelid. They do not resemble each other at all, but each has features obviously inherited from both parents.
Yeltsin and his brother resemble as much as brothers resemble (they look related, but far from identical). Yeltsin looks like he had very dark hair. Quite incredible that decrepit drunk used to be such a handsome man:
Here a bit of Baltid is also evident. In his brother, even as old man, there is nothing but Aryan...
