I think rather than taking pride in the achievements of a few ancestors you might be related to from 1,000 years ago..focus on your own achievements.

wrong, wrong and wrong
first modern computer: Zuse (German),
electricity generation: farraday (Brit)
first car: Benz, German,
first documented flight: Lilienthal German,
nuclear fusion: Otto Hahn and Lise-Meitner (German) - Fermi based on that, together with an Hungarian, developed the first nuclear reactor, but that was in the US (a country vastly built by crackers),
the first regular use telegraph was developed by Gauss and Weber in Germany
everyone knows that the telephone was developed by bell
so the only thing we have is a nuclear reactor that an italian) - in a team - developed in the US (he received his physics education germany, btw), based on the german discovery of nuclear fusion
and wireless telegraphy/radio (although telegraphy was first successfully used by germans), which in italian (half italian half brit actually!) invented together with a german and based on the german discovery of radio waves (by hertz) in england:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Ferdinand_Braun
on the other hand we have internet, jet engine, airplane, car, bicycle, helicopter, industrial revolution, nuclear fusion, motorcycle, motors, electric lights, telephone, television, electric power (farraday) etc as cracker inventions
and this is not about croats, get over it: you live in a cracker world, through and through

You're really not supporting your case.
The USA is fundamentally an Anglo colony, its core cultural values and institutions are clearly British inspired, with minor pan-European influences. Look at the elite and influential figures in American history and they are inevitably Brits or other Germanics (or Northern Jews).

Yes but you can't deny that the French had a huge role in the establishment of the U.S. They helped the Americans during the Revolutionary War to be liberated from the British and sold a huge piece of their land to the Americans for next to nothing. (Louisiana Purchase) Also the modern English we speak today in America has many French words borrowed from it. Many prominent people in American history were French as well. I know George Washington had Huguenot ancestors.

Western Civilization was founded in Greece; there is no way around it.
Even the word "Europe" is a Greek term.

I can deny it, the French role in shaping the USA was not huge, it barely scratched the Anglo character of the USA and later German settlement was more influential.
The French assisting the Americans was the same strategy that virtually every other nation or tribe has practiced at some point (and probably many times) in their history. Nobody is an island and forming mutually beneficial and often opportunistic alliances was and is a common practice which very rarely changes the national character of the participants. The Scots were allied to the French against the English throughout the middle Ages (the auld alliance) and yet this doesn't somehow make Scotland fundamentally less Scottish or northern.
The French sold the land cheaply because it was largely useless to them, they didn’t have the resources to enforce their claim on it. The British and Americans had more of a presence in the area and the French were at the point of abandoning their Western hemisphere empire.
Modern English with its French influence originated in England but this doesn't make England any less Anglo or northern so I don’t know where you are going with this.
The USA is a northern European colony, any other claim is clutching at straws.

The shape of the New World does support our case as well. Former Northern colonies which managed to preserve and expand their founding population are among the world most prosperous countries(US, Canada and Australia). On the other hand, most of Latin America has always belonged to the second world.
