That could add a new dimension, depending on when did they become company-owners.
A lot of soviet ex-military and (ex-)KGB became company-owners.

Russians have no relation to Estonia whatsoever, thus it's logical that the emigration rate among Russian immigrants of Estonia is higher than the one of Estonians. Many Russians want Estonian citizenship because it allows them to go to any country in the EU.

As I don't use it at all) or Finnish, but both languages have stuck on me somehow and I can understand both to some extent, just by hearing both languages quite often. Every person with at least some intelligence should have the same effect.

I met a German exchange student 2 weeks after he had came to Estonia, in september. He could only say a few words in Estonian. Then I met him again 6 months later and he spoke Estonian without no accent at all. You couldn't understand that he is a foreigner.

I just get an impression that your GF and many other Russians are mentally impaired and retarded because of nature/genes.

I would have to work really hard to shut down my brain, while living abroad, to not learn the local language. Russians don't seem to have a problem with it... must be the lack of brain activity.
