I am somewhat surprised at the amount of variation within the group too, for example in 2 of 5 cases Atlantic is equal to or higher than North-central Euro, and the Mediterranean is actually a little higher than i would have expected. Do you have the individual results for any used in the West & Central German examples, and the French examples? (The East French was interesting, as it seems mainly the Mediterranean amount that makes it different from Dutch, German, English etc, specifically the East mediterranean.

You are correct, it looks like that people from Western Netherlands/Coastal areas are generally closer to the English/Danes and the Dutch people from the Eastern Netherlands are closer to West-Central Germans etc. But there are exceptions in the regions of course.

It fits pretty well with that clustering program Dienekes used some time ago. In that case the Dutch, instead of forming their own group, split into three groups. About half went with the English, just under half with the Germans and a couple with the Danes (perhaps Frisians?).

Because things under 1% are just noise. If you ran the test again you would have a different score on both tests.

Would you say that a score in the 1.5-2% range in pretty much all of the Eurogenes calculators is probably real and not noise? I tend to score 1.5-2% Siberian in all of the Eurogenes calculators except for the K36.

1.5-2% consistantly in every run is something real. I meant the 0,25% values for example... those are noise in my opinion.
