I'm starting to wonder about South Asian, seeing as it shows up on every test. Thought it might be higher though.

Sorry if this question has already been asked but does anyone know where each of the components peek? Especially interested in the West Eurasian ones.

Posting my results again here just for the fun of it. I find it quite interesting that my genome in this calculator is dominated by the North_Sea component. This makes sense though since my mother who is of Irish/British Isles descent has a lot of this component and also my father has some which he inherited mostly from his Finnish mother no doubt. I probably also inherited a little bit of it from my paternal grandfather who is Italian but not as much as from my paternal Finnish grandmother who I already mentioned. Dare I say it? Ultimately i guess so. Although one thing that is interesting is that it is also quite dominant in Finns too, which gives it something of a Baltic bias as well to some extent. It seems to correlate with y-haplogroup I1 to some extent in this regard also. So i would bet that the two have something of a history together in pre-historic times, in a similar way to R1b and Atlantic components. Of course whether these haplogroups came to dominate in areas where these autosomal components were prevalent, or whether they brought the majority of it with them is a pretty open question?
