Did your German side have Slavic surnames?

No, I don't have any Slavic surnames; all German. A few were born in Prussia, but most are not even from Eastern German. Most came from Baden-Wurttemberg and Hessen.

You have much higher North Sea than any of the population averages of South France-Italy-Austria regions, and no visible East European which is unusual for that region as well, Sardinians excluded.

Individual variation in North Italy should be high though, so perhaps it's not that unusual.
