I am generally shy but, if I get to know the person, I am the opposite of shy...

i would say im both! when im with people that i know well im a funny and outgoing person,but when i meet a person (for the first time) at the begining im pretty shy but then i feel more comfotable as the time pass

That's not really the thing...
The question is if you're shy or outgoing with strangers. It's easy to be open with friends and family.

I'm not shy. I'm outgoing if I feel like it, and when I'm not in the mood I'm just apathic to talk to people, not really afraid or shy about it.

I have no problems talking with strangers face to face.

However, I'm extremely shy when it comes to talk with strangers on the phone. I remember during the job I had this summer. They gave me a number to a company I was going to call to order some stuffs. It took me about 6-7 hours to finally call them

And I don't answer my phone if some stranger is calling me.

No I'm not shy. I have a relaxed personality, easy to talk to, laugh and joke all the time. Basically I'm a happy go lucky guy who likes to take it one day at a time. Though I would rather be at home and spend time with my family, kick back grab a beer and watch a movie.
