i dont know what the greek and italian substitutes, but there is indian type ancestry and either balkan or jewish, it is hard to tell i guess when you are southeuropean with roma because it could be a mix which is similar to jewish, i guess in northern europeans it is easier to tell

no it is not confirmed, 23andme didnt confirmed it. their response left me unsatisfied and without knowledge and confirmation

Allowing for overlaps between close populations and peculiarities in parts of my own family, it seems very accurate. EUtest was only more accurate because the group he used for the English was different (rather than SE English and SW English - I assume an intermediary between SE English and Cornish). I guess the 'English' group on EUtest better fit my family, but as these groups are all from my population group, i guess we are just towards the extremities of the group rather than in the core close to the average.

It is very alike to K15. From a British Perspective, which I can only give.

We have it split by West Atlantic & East North Sea, and nearly now South with the English.

The English pull closer to the Germans than the Orcadians, who pull closer to the Scandos.

In that respect it is good.

It would still be interesting to see where the individual members of each group plot too, then one could allocate an area of normal distribution around the average and see the overlap. For example while i know my mother is definitely outside the normal range, i don't know about other family members. So if say a lot of the Brits actually plotted where my Grandfather or Aunt did, it would be easier to understand whether this is just due to variation within a group or not.

Yeah he falls pretty close to my Grandmother . A bit more to the south and east though. Her ancestry is 1/2 from Cheshire, 1/4 from London and 1/8 each from Devon and Hertfordshire, if i remember correctly.
