Not True ,Raška area or Rascia (as it was called by Byzantines ) comes from Ras ,Rašani ,Rasciani ( see Stari Ras )and river Raška were the heartland of medieval Serbia or Raška .
The name is derived from the name of the region's most important fort, Ras which first appears in the work de aedificiis of Byzantine Procopius as Arsa prior to the forming of Serbia (Procopius, De aedificiis, IV 4). Ras eventually became the capital district and seat of the first bishopric of Serbia (the Eparchy of Raška and Prizren). The name of the bishopric eventually started to denote the entire area under jurisdiction and later, under Stefan Nemanja, Ras was re-generated as state capital and as such it has at times been used by some[who?] in historiography to refer to Serbia from the early 12th to the early 14th century.[citation needed] It had began its use as an exonym for Serbia in Western European sources in the early 13th century,[citation needed] along with other names such as Dalmatia and Slavonia. The first attested appearance of the name Raška is in the Kotor charter (1186), in which Stefan Nemanja is mentioned as župan of Raška. Soon after Raška (Rascia) became an exonym for Serbia in western sources (Papacy, German, Italian, French etc.) often in conjunction with Serbia (Servia et Rascia). However, that name appears scarcely in medieval Serbian and never in Byzantine works to denote the state.
Between the 15th and 18th centuries, the term Raška (Rascia, Ráczság) was used to designate the southern Pannonian Plain inhabited by Serbs (Raci), who settled there during the late Middle Ages, the Ottoman period and the Great Serb migrations from medieval Serbia, "Rácz" has survived as a common surname in Hungary

Bosniaks call it Sandzak out of servile piety towards their former masters the Ottomans and Serbs are majority in both districts and most of the land in Muslim dominated parts is owned by Serbs aswell .Only in their wet dreams will they ever create their green transfersal across Serb dominated parts .
Today it falls under Zlatiborski and Raški district .

And those districts are created recently to attempt to prevent Bosniaks from fighting for their rights.
How went the Kosovo? You can threaten as much as you want, but you should have realised by now that your threats and genocide is something no one is afraid of anymore
It is time you corect that map

Those districts are continuation of administrative divides dating back to kingdom of SHS (banovine ,srezovi ).Before Balkan wars they were a part of Kosovo vilajet .
Dont be a foolish internet warrior and stop dreaming because SW Serbia isnt comparable with Kosovo in any aspect. In a possible future conflict Muslims will profit the least especially in Raška district .Most of Muslims in Serbia are loyal .On the subject of demographics ... even in Novi Pazar (largest city ) Muslims are majority only in the city while Serbs make up the majority in surrounding area .In Sjenica municipality Serbs own the 80 % of the land .
Novi Pazar demographics
blue-Serbs
green-muslims

You might have those 2 loyal lapdogs now, but Bosniaks will get their representatives soon enough
Loyalty, you can dream of that.
Remember how loyal Kosovo was acording to Serb lapdogs there.
Sandzak will join Bosnia sooner or later, since that is the only way to protect their interests.
Serbs can then go and live in Raska
