Thanks, I wasn't sure whether to trust them or not

Do you think they are valid even though it is still batch processing something?

Had a look at K15 Oracle & it hasn't updated yet. You could still post your results. But it may change soonish. You could still compare them to Jackson & I.

    The versions don't matter.

Ok, thanks. I'll post some. Seems the dark curly hair in a lot of my family isn't med or French as I though it would be. I'm also not showing as 3/4 English- K13 shows even less! I can't actually get into gedmatch at the moment, but I saved some earlier so I'll post those...

Interesting, seems similar to some of my family except you have no East Med and a little less Baltic/Eastern Euro (apart from my grandmother), very northwestern European.

Edit: Do you know what your MTdna is yet?

Orcadian is kind of a Norse-Celt mix, you score higher in North Sea, the update will have West Norway at its peak instead of Orkney, perhaps could change things... Tilt it about.

A couple of seconds to show you what I think of Oracle & that you can't take it literally

Somewhere in this triangle & more drawn to SW England, as it scores 50%. Going from North England, West Midlands & Wales. Somewhere there.

Yeah there is a delay, John the creator of Gedmatch.com has not had time to install the new spreadsheet yet. (due to work deadlines)

Yes, I was a little surprised about the mix.

My MTdna, well 23andme just gave me H so I put my data through the James Lick (I think that's it) calculator and I didn't show a perfect match to any, but was closest to H27, H27c and H27d. I don't think 23andme test for those, and I can't really find anything about them.

That's interesting, thanks. It'll be good to see what the update shows . I guess that position in Northern England could work. Oracle X seems odd, though I score high on Orcadian on K13 too. It's probably just the Celtic/Norse mix as you say. I'll post some K13 results on that thread.
