Oh aye. forgot( silly me , sorry). You are more Northern than Jackson. Jackson's mum's much more southern. That pulls him down.

I suspect my dad's more southern than my mum. He was the reason I thought I'd have some med in me- he tans and has near black curly hair, though blue eyes. Apparently not though according to 23andme.

His side pulls me North West. His ancestry comes from a line of hill farmers in the remote Northern lake District up to Northern Cumbria & a line of farmers going to the West Scotland & North East Scotland.

The K13 is all West Scotland instead.

Yes my mum's family is really Northern. My great-grandfather is from Urk (was an island before) and their as homogeneous as it can get. Also my grandmother is real West Frisian, but my maternal grandfather had dark hair, blue eyes and tanned really fast. Also my maternal uncle when he was young had blond hair but it changed to almost black when he was older and some people thought of him he was Spanish or French

Your mother really looks like someone I know when they were young- her mother was Frisian
