Nova Makedonija: Macedonian Orthodox Church was well met in Sofia

Skopje. Bulgarian Orthodox Church paid decent respect to the Macedonian Orthodox Church during the morning service in St. Alexander Nevski Church in Sofia on the occasion of St. Cyril and Methodius Day, Nova Makedonija daily announced.
According to Bulgarian religious analyst Ivan Zhelev the mass was attended by the head of the Macedonian Orthodox Church Archbishop Stefan and Macedonian bishops Naum and Clement.
"It is essential that the Bulgarian Patriarch Neophyte, Archbishop Stefan, along with Clement and Naum bishops and one bishop of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church stood together at the altar," Zhelev said.
The edition states that the unresolved status of the Macedonian Orthodox Church does not allow for mutual service to the liturgy of the two clerical heads.
