Interesting, makes a lot of sense geographically - and AS2 & 3 don't look as far removed as previously, just extremely NW European by modern standards. I guess when you look at it like this their position doesn't seem that abnormal considering the five of them overall do mostly overlap with modern populations in Britain, just the modern population has moved south a little bit i guess. Quite impressive for 2000 years. It would be interesting to get some good quality aDNA from around 2000BC and compare that as well.

Would be interesting to make an average for the Iron Age and Early Medieval populations aswell, i think overall they wouldn't be too far from one another.

Yeah it is pretty annoying that, i remember having the same problem when i tried it a while back - none of the options really help.

I consolidated my mother and aunt into one average, then it's just my Paternal Grandfather and Paternal Grandmother.
