If you like that one- try Spinoza "Ethics". The map seems to be influenced by Spinoza. I don't know.

For starters, ditch the good/evil nonsense in the upper left. More than half of these pain derived emotions have extremely positive dimensions (ex. fear is essential to survival; without it we, as a species, would've died of misadventure long ago), and more than a few of the pleasure derived one shave extremely negative dimensions (ex. an excess of self-approval leads to stagnation of self-development).

    Default Opinions

It is evident that this scheme is intended to be comprehensive and, if this be its purpose, it nearly succeeds, at the cost of comprehensibility, however. But,
what IS its purpose ? If it has any utilitarian pretensions, its very complexity precludes their realisation.

It reminds me of the Cross, Iddings, Pirsson, and Washington classification of rocks which permitted asssigning a name to any rock ever discovered or yet to be discovered. Its very comprehensiveness led to a complexity which doomed it to uselessness. Except for the students of its creators, no one ever used it.

This diagram of the relationships between emotions appears equally useless, doomed by its complexity to the role of an interesting curiosity.

You could add hiraeth or saudade which have no English equivalent.
