It is not at all, I've been to Sao Paulo.. the truth is Paulistas tend to be fairer-skinned than Northeasterners and thanks to their colonialism's heritage they see them as inferior.. but since racism is still a taboo issue in Brazil they just make stuff up such as "their way of life is so different from ours" etc

Everywhere. In Mexico, Southern Mexicans and Guatemalans face harsher treatment and discrimination than do the considerable number of Middle Easterners and NE Asians there. In Panama, Blacks face more discrimination than do their large communities of Arabs, Chinese and Indians. Darker-skinned Northern Argentines face more discrimination than do the Middle Easterners and NE Asians in Buenos Aires. Etc. etc.
