I really like the look of the countryside around Leudal and the engineering that has gone into the bridge at Zeelandbrug.
The canals are beautiful, Amsterdam must be amongst one of the prettiest cities in Europe.

Walloons are partially Germanic and Walloon French or Walloon itself (there is a Walloon language) has a lot of Germanic influences in words and grammar. There is a Whole Netherlands-movement. Some people even extent that to Luxembourg but I don't go that far.
In that respect you can say that for Wallonia a similar approach counts as for Switzerland where there also Swiss French that are profoundly different from the French themselves.
