So I grew up in southern Hertfordshire primarily, but my grandparents had a farm in southern Wales where I spent much of the year. They sold it last December, which broke my heart, but whatever. When I was 16 my mother bought her own place in northern Wales, where she spent time as a child (just a couple of villages over, in fact) in southern Snowdonia.
Snowdonia (Eryri, highlands, in Welsh) is a national park in Northern Wales that includes the highest mountains in England and Wales and is described as a 'little slice of the Alps' only it's much better than the Alps. Smaller, though. It was one of the original national parks, too.
Anyhow, I thought anyone with connections to Snowdonia/North Wales could contribute. Here are pictures I've taken:
